Oldham Family Alliance FCU will take prudent and reasonable measures to safeguard the accuracy and privacy of all member information, including information used while conducting business via the internet, ATM networks, wire services, telephone, U.S. mail and other means of communication.
The bylaws of Oldham Family Alliance FCU require its officers, directors, committee members, and employees to "hold in confidence all transactions of this credit union with its members and all information respecting their personal affairs." Exceptions may be made only in connection with the making of loans, the collection of loans, and the guaranteeing of member share drafts. Additionally, the bylaws of Oldham Family Alliance FCU grants us authorization to participate with credit reporting agencies to facilitate making member loans and guaranteeing member share drafts. The information Oldham Family Alliance FCU provides to credit reporting agencies is protected by federal law and its use is strictly governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Oldham Family Alliance FCU does not collect or maintain information about its members that is not essential for prudent business purposes.
Oldham Family Alliance FCU does not sell or otherwise provide member names or other information to third parties for purposes inconsistent with the credit union's mission to protect the privacy of each member's financial records in ways consistent with state and federal laws.
