How do I join?
To open a Share Savings account, you will need:

  • Five Dollars ($5)
  • Your Social Security Card
  • Proper Identification3
  • Completed Membership Application4
  • Proof of eligibility5

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.

¹Eligibility for membership will be verified by map of community charter.²If qualifying for membership as a spouse or family member of a current Member of the Credit Union, the current Member’s account must be in good standing.3Proper Identification is defined as one of the following: a.) Valid Driver’s License, or b.) Valid State ID, or c.) Valid Passport and Permanent Resident Card.4Oldham Family Alliance Federal Credit Union accepts membership applications that are submitted remotely (via fax, mail, or online). The applicant(s) will not be granted membership until visiting a branch to compete the membership process which includes, but is not limited to: fingerprinting the applicant(s), copying identification and eligibility documents, disbursing account disclosures, and witnessing applicant(s) signatures. ACCOUNTS MAY BE REFUSED UNTIL ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION IS PRESENT.5Proof of eligibility includes one of the following: a.) utility bill in your name – leases are not accepted, or b.) valid work ID or most recent paystub, or c.) program from affiliation’s service, or d.) valid school ID or class registry, or e.) current Member’s account number.
